So this is my first fitness related post

I've talked about how I've always been a little intimidated to post anything to do with fitness. But I honestly just want to share my workouts with everyone because I know so many girls who just don't know what to do when they hit the gym. Believe me I know how scary it can be to walk into a weight room filled with a ton of buff men who look like they know what they're doing. But the truth is, a lot of them feel the exact same pressure. At the end of the day, you are working out for your own health and to feel confident. 

Research is key. Always try to walk into the gym with a planned workout, especially when you're first starting out. I always check out a couple of fitness instagram accounts before I workout to see if there are any cool new workouts I can incorporate into my regime. My favorite accounts are @cristinacapron, @ladyfitworkouts, and @leanmachine21.

I have considered posting videos of my workouts, but I workout solo so my videos usually aren't the greatest. I have been filming my workouts for a few years, mostly just squats and deadlifts, just to make sure my form is on point. Lately I have tried filming some of my circuit workouts, but to be honest the quality just isn't great. 

I'm personally a big fan of circuit style workouts, they're just so much fun! I love trying new things out and keeping my heartrate up. Here is one of my chest and tricep workouts:

Circuit 1:

7 pull ups - 5 tricep dips - 30 seconds mountain climbers

15 chest flies on cables - 12 tricep push downs on cables - 6 pull up burpees

12 DB chest press - 12 DB chest flies - 30 seconds of jumping over bench

12 tricep kickbacks - 15 skull crushers - 20 knee tuck ins

8 incline situps + plate press - 1 minute plank

So here we have a mediocre, at best, video of one of the circuits. But hey, it's my first video, so it can only go up from here.

Also this is just my personal workout, I am definitely not a personal trainer-just a wee little disclaimer.
